Selling Philosophy


I arrived in the Bay Area in 1982 from Colombia via Miami, New York and Hawaii. As a jack-of-all-trades, I initially worked in marketing, accounting, business administration, and the travel industry. I even ran my own art gallery in San Francisco.
But I was also investing in real estate. With a knack for identifying a fair value, I learned how to turn a good piece of property around and sell at a profit. Eventually, my personal friends and associates approached me about helping them achieve the same results. Ultimately I obtained my real estate license and began my sales career in Hawaii. Later, after I moved to the Bay Area in 1988, I joined the Prudential California office on San Francisco's Union Street in 2000.
Today, I love my job. I thrive on meeting new people. I find it exciting to run the numbers on a prospective investment. I even enjoy the paperwork! Finally, it's my nature to be of service. What better way to help people than with the best investment I think they will ever make?
Professionally, my maxim is to stay humble and kind as I help people get great deals on Bay Area property. Even though I rank among the Bay Area's top agents, you'll never find me boasting about my track record. Instead my focus is on my clients and the properties they want to buy or sell.

Specific Services

Buyers and Sellers: Nearly all of my buyers and sellers learn about me through someone else I've helped. They hear that I'm friendly and approachable and know how to listen to them. From the start, you will find me full of information and ready to answer questions. I will only show you properties that really work for you. I also explain all the elements of a purchase contract so that you know exactly what you are getting into when it's time to write an offer.

When it comes to writing an offer, why pay a penny more than you have to? While no two transactions are alike, if there's room to negotiate, I'll take it. With charm and finesse, I can always get the best price and terms available, and make everyone feel like a winner.

After your offer is accepted, I stay in touch throughout the escrow period. I promise you will always know what's going on throughout the transaction and feel comfortable right up to the day you close.

  • I speak Spanish fluently being originally from South America. My clients are both English speaking and Spanish speaking.

  • I can give you names of subcontractors when you're in need of a painter, plumber, or handyman, or help with information about refinancing. Also, I can provide data on curent market and trends or "SOLDS" in your neighborhood. If you would like a comparative market analysis on your home, please give me a call.

  • Our office has an in-house mortgage broker that can help you get pre-approved.

  • I can set you up in "Property Alert", (see the left-hand navigation bar) which will notify you via email about new properties on the market that fit your criteria.
