Technical knowledge: Do I understand the real estate contracts and what protections they provide?  Want to know your money is protected by the listing/purchase agreement?  Let us explain it. Time limits for removing contingencies for inspections and loans must be followed to avoid loss of the right to purchase or back out of the contract.

Work experience:  Understanding contracts and appling the risks associated with a specific property are duties underwriters perform.  This is most helpful now in evaluating property.
